The Other Side
of the Storm

Though we all prefer
those memories and days
of blue sky, gentle breezes,
and stress free living,
we should never forget that
it is those days
of storms and ragging colors,
of aching hearts, and seemingly
unbearable pressures,
that do the greatest molding
of who we are and
how strongly we stand.
And, that those days too
must be appreciated for
their own special kind
of beauty.
